We're very excited to announce that the long-awaited API for MyEmma is now in limited release to developers. We've been eagerly waiting in the wings for the launch.
We got our hands on the API this afternoon, and are very glad to report that it took us all of about 15 minutes to port over BadBoysFinishFirst.com from RemoteSignup to the new API.
We are looking forward very much to exploring all this new API has to offer! Matt Thackston, the API maestro at Emma, reports that in addition to a more elegant SOA approach to remote signups, the API will bring the following functionality to the community:

John has experience spanning a broad range of ERP computing in both technical and customer-facing roles. John holds industry-specific experience with the Oracle E-Business Suite of applications with specializations in Service Oriented Architecture and systems integration, Financials, Inventory, Retail, Learning Management, Workflow, BPEL, PL/SQL, and Java.
His current focus is on our Systems Integration practice, developing web service connectors for a variety of industries including payment processing, customer relationship management, content management systems, and ERP systems. John also heads up our cloud computing infrastructure team, and recently collaborated on an open-source project to load and stress test Oracle databases on Amazon's EC2 and RDS platforms.
John is also a United States Parachuting Association accredited Master skydiver and instructor with over 2,000 jumps, and plays bluegrass music in his spare time.
